How to book / reserve a room?
Our Reservations Department is available every day by telephone from 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Furthermore, using your personal details, you have the possibility to book a room through our website.
Can I change my reservation at any time or cancel?
For the exact cancellation conditions please refer to the price details of your booked room rate.
Is breakfast included in the quoted hotel prices?
Yes. Breakfast is included in our room rates.
At what time can I start using the hotel room?
Our rooms are available on the arrival day from 3:00 p.m. onwards.
What can be done to be allowed to use the room earlier?
If your arrival is before 3:00 p.m., you have the option of depositing your luggage at the hotel. It is always advisable to inform the reception at least a day in advance of a planned early arrival, so that it may be possible to have the room ready before 3:00 p.m.
When do I have to leave the room on the day of departure?
The room must be vacated by 11:00 a.m.
Can I delay the time of departure?
Of course a late checkout can be requested at the front desk and is offered free of charge, subject to availability until 12:00. An extended stay in the room may possibly incur a fee.
Can I change or cancel my hotel?
Basically, the rooms can be cancelled or changes in reservation are possible free of charge up to 48 hours prior to arrival. For the exact cancellation policy, please refer to your reservation confirmation.

What are the cancellation charges of the hotel?
For no-show or cancellation less than 48 hours before scheduled arrival, we charge 90% of the total stay of the reservation.
How can I pay for my hotel reservation?
You have the option to pay the hotel bill in cash, by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Amex) or debit card.
Will I receive a written confirmation after I have booked?
Basically, each guest will receive a written confirmation by fax or e-mail after booking.
What can I do if I have no credit card and want to guarantee my reservation?
You are welcome to transfer the amount in advance. Please note that we can only guarantee your reservation after receipt of the amount upon our account.
What happens to my room if I arrive after 6:00 p.m.?
Unless you have guaranteed your booking (by credit card or bank transfer), we reserve the right to rent your room.
How do I get from airport to hotel and from hotel to airport?
Does the hotel have parking? Are there fees?
The Hotel Opéra provides guests with a limited number of free resident parking licenses, which you can insert in place of the parking ticket in the wind-shield. One can find a parking space in the surrounding streets of the central Lehel quarter.
Does the hotel have a parking garage? Where is this? How much does parking cost per hour / day?
The hotel has a limited number of underground parking spaces in the Bürkleinstraße, about a 3-4 minute walk from the Hotel Opéra, which are charged at € 20 per night.

Is the reception staffed after 11:00 p.m.?
The reception is staffed 24 hours a day.
Can I pay by credit card?
Hotel Opéra accepts the following credit cards:
American Express, Euro or MasterCard and Visa.
Can flowers, wine or the like be ordered from the Hotel in advance, to be ready upon arrival?
Please contact the reception in this regard.
Is there Internet access in the hotel?
The Hotel Opéra offers you free wi-fi. The access data is available at the front desk.
Is there a public computer available?
If you do not have your own computer, you are welcome to use the hotel computer in the lobby.
Is smoking permitted at Hotel Opéra?
We are a Non-smoking hotel and therefore ask our guests to use the courtyard or balcony.
Does the hotel have smoking rooms?
No.
Can I get my laundry cleaned by the hotel?
Yes. In each room you will find a laundry bag, and related laundry list. If you have completed this before 8:00 a.m. and have left it at the front desk, you will get your laundry back on the same evening to the room and the cost will be charged to your hotel account.
Does the hotel have an ironing service?
We are happy to iron your washing for a small fee that is charged to your hotel account. Please understand that we can not iron every type of item, as we are not a professional laundry service.
Can I bring my dog ??to the hotel? Does the animal cost extra?
We are a dog or pet free hotel.
Are the rooms in the hotel air-conditioned?
Our hotel rooms have no air conditioning. But because of the old age of the building, a good indoor climate is ensured. We would be happy to make a fan available upon request.
Does the hotel have a gym?
No, there is no gym at the hotel. Please feel to find out about fitness facilities in the area from the reception.
Does the hotel have a restaurant?
The hotel itself has no restaurant, but we would be happy to reserve a table for you in our Restaurant "Gandl" which belongs to the hotel. It is only 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel and is located directly on St. Anna-Platz.
Can the restaurant be visited by guests not staying in the hotel?
Yes. The restaurant can, of course, be visited also by external guests.
Is there room service in the hotel?
We offer our guests a 24-hour beverage service to their room. On request, a bite to eat can be organized up until 12:00 a.m.

The breakfast room is located next to the hotel reception area in the lobby. You can also have breakfast in the conservatory and in good weather on the terrace.
